Working with O Street as they rebranded Leeds-based Thackray Museum of Medicine, we created a suite of colourful fun images showing a wide range of people (cast from the local community) reacting in a dramatic fashion to the weird and wonderful medical items in the museum’s collections. Along with these, key objects from the collection and sample offerings from the new cafe were also captured to be used across a citywide OOH campaign, educational print pamphlets and social media.
These were shot against backgrounds in colours from the newly developed and humoursly named brand colour palette (including such wonders as Vomit orange, Bruise blue, and Gangrene) to update its historic identity into a more encompassing and attractive one for the new generation.
